Privacy Policy

Effective date: January 6, 2026 · Last updated: January 6, 2026

DAYO Court ("the App", "we", "us") is a mobile application that helps barangay-level court owners and operators manage their courts, receive booking requests from players, and communicate with them. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how we use it, who it is shared with, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

DAYO Court is published by the DAYO team based in the Philippines. The companion app for players is called DAYO. You can contact us at dayo.ph.it.services@gmail.com for any privacy-related question.

2. Information we collect

We only collect the information we need to operate the App. The full list is below.

Account info
Name, email, profile photo, phone number, position (e.g. SK Chairman), barangay, sports you cover. Used to identify you in the App and to players who book your courts.
Google sign-in
If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account ID and basic profile (name, email, profile picture). We never receive your Google password.
Court data
Court name, address, sport, court type, photos, prices, geo-coordinates you set by pinning the court on the map. Displayed to players in DAYO.
Payment numbers
If you choose to add them, your GCash and/or Maya / PayMaya numbers and the account name you provide. Shown to players so they know where to send the downpayment. We do not process payments through the App.
Messages
The text and image attachments you send or receive through the in-app chat with players, along with timestamps and read/seen status. Stored so you can see your conversation history.
Bookings & leagues
Booking requests received from players, league information you create (name, schedule, prizes, registered clubs), and the accept/decline decisions you make.
Device & push token
Device platform (Android/iOS), Expo push notification token, and basic device model info. Used solely to deliver in-app notifications.
Location (when in use)
If you grant permission, your current location is used to center the map when you pick a court's pin. We do not track your location in the background.
Photos & camera
With your permission, the App accesses your photo library and camera so you can upload a profile photo, court images, and attachments inside messages.
Diagnostic logs
Anonymous crash and error data we use to fix bugs. No personal information is included.

You can revoke any of these in Android Settings → Apps → DAYO Court → Permissions at any time.

6. Data retention

We keep your account and content (courts, leagues, messages, photos) for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time — see Account & Data Deletion.

Some operational logs (security/audit) may be retained for up to 90 days after account deletion to investigate fraud or abuse, then permanently deleted.

7. Children's privacy

DAYO Court is intended for adults who manage or operate basketball courts. It is not directed to anyone under 18 years of age, which is the age of majority in the Philippines. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We transmit data over HTTPS and store it on managed infrastructure with row-level security policies. Passwords are handled by our identity provider (Supabase Auth / Google) — DAYO Court never sees your password. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
